Hi I’m Rachael. I’ve been working as a Personal Trainer and Sports Therapist since 2002, and until recently was based predominantly in London.
I moved to Sussex in 2009, just before the birth of my daughter, in an attempt to escape the big smoke and am now building my training and therapy work down here.
My training focus has always been optimal postural conditioning and combining my training and therapy together to make sure clients end up as fit as they can be. Sussex Bootcamps really compliment my style of training and I’m looking forward to teaching them.
As you’ll notice when you meet me, I’m an Aussie who relocated to the UK in 2000, and got stuck here! I grew up in Tasmania and went to a typically sports mad Aussie school where I tried my hand at various sports and was thoroughly immersed in an outdoors lifestyle. After school I got hooked on kickboxing and this led to my deciding to work in the fitness industry.
My own training tends to focus less on structured sports these days and more on anything that will get me out into the wilderness including mountain biking, hiking and snowboarding. And despite being an Aussie I only tried surfing for the first time this year and love it!
